A Career Built on Faith, Prayer, and Obedience
Before officially becoming an author, Sarah worked as a news editor for Atlanta Christian Voice from 2017 to 2022. This chapter refined her writing, strengthened her discipline, and prepared her spirit for the next step.
But eventually, after deep prayer and divine prompting, God called her to leave her editorial role and walk boldly into authorship.
In February 2022, Sarah published her first Christian memoir, “A Victory Song: Beneath the Veil.”
This book officially marked the beginning of her career as a full-time author—a calling she embraced with courage and faith.
A Victory Song: A Series Led by the Holy Spirit
What began as plans for a trilogy soon transformed into something far greater. In prayer, God revealed to Sarah that A Victory Song was not meant to stop at three books—it was to become a full, ongoing series.
Today, Sarah has published two books in the series:

And she is actively writing two more:

Alongside these, she is creating her first children’s illustrated book titled “She Walks With Jesus,” with artwork drawn by Sarah herself—a rare combination of artistic and literary gifting.

One of the most powerful elements of Sarah’s work is her mission to break the stigma surrounding mental illness within faith communities.
Through her memoirs, she openly discusses bipolar disorder, struggles with self-image, moments of deep despair, and even thoughts of suicide—not with shame, but with courage and God-led honesty.
Her message is revolutionary yet tender:
“It is okay to seek help. It is okay to see a counselor. It is okay to go to a psychiatric hospital. And it is okay to call on Jesus while doing all of these things.”
Sarah believes that faith and professional mental health support can exist harmoniously—that Jesus works through doctors, counselors, medication, and divine intervention all at once.
